About Tank ‘n Tube River Rides
(Formerly Uncle Scott’s Outfitters and Tank Down the Elkhorn)
We offer a family-friendly oriented service that gives people the enjoyment of floating down the river with us from May 16th through Labor Day. This is an opportunity for young and old alike to experience the beauty of mother nature in the Elkhorn River Valley.
To start the day off right, the bus will drop you off at Rawhide Bend where you will enjoy music, volleyball, horseshoes, bags, and much more! After an hour or so at Rawhide Bend you will begin your float trip down the Elkhorn river.
At this time we are offering floats on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Each tube has a life vest attached to it. Your float time varies depending upon how long you want to float.
Safety is our number one concern and we will in no way float anyone on the river if the conditions pose a threat.
Rawhide Bend
Rawhide Bend is the Elkhorn River’s premier party sandbar. When stopping at Rawhide Bend you can expect a “Sandkickin’ good time!” Enjoy games such as volleyball, bags and horseshoes just to name a few.
